Simple Fresh Peach Coffee Cake Recipe

Fresh Peach Coffee Cake Preparation Method

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Sifted Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Melted Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 3 Fresh Peaches

Crumb Topping:

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Flou

Description:

1. Sift together dry ingredients. Beat egg slightly. Add sugar and mix well.

2. Stir in melted butter and milk. Add dry ingredients and mix just until moistened. Spread batter in greased 9 inch square cake pan. Now scald and peel peaches. Slice and arrange in rows over top of batter, overlapping if necessary.

3. Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes. Serves 9.

4. Cream sugar and butter. Cut in flour with pastry blender. Sprinkle mixture on top of peaches.
